I had a weird dream last night that involved various LJ people, some sort of shop which I guess was in America (it had a very long counter)and a dog that was the offspring of [info]stephen_cramer's Daisy and another mystery dog very strange....

Today's Question is No matter what age you are now is there an age you feel is your *true* age? Do you feel young at heart? Old before your time?

I'm trying to work on my myspace profile and I'm not really sure how to describe myself so I would really appreciate it if anyone who wants to would tell me their first impressions of me.

I cooked a meal for [info]cupcakefilms last night shepard's pie and apple crumble and custard *vegan natch*. It's been a while since I've cooked properly for someone and I was thinking how intimate a process I find it. I guess it's an expression of love. I don't think I could cook well for someone I didn't like. I certainly find it difficult if my food isn't appreciated by the person I'm cooking for. I'm not sure if I could ever really love someone that I couldn't cook for.

I am ridiculously happy at the moment and I don't really know why. By rights I should be miserable spending another winter in Ponty, falling in love with someone in America who in all probability I will never be in a relationship with but I feel so happy. There is a song in my heart and I want to dance. I guess the outcome doesn't matter it just feels so amazing to have said those three little words to someone else. Don't get me wrong I cried plenty of tears when I was in America and after I was back in Wales. There is a part of my heart that still has hope so maybe when that is finally crushed I'll feel awful but for now every time I think of my time in Philly I get a big smile on my face.

Otherly, I'm looking forward to feeding [info]cupcakefilms Shepard's Pie and Apple Crumble tomorrow. I'd make someone an excellent wife. She is visiting to help me with the decorating which is still going well.

Posting a postcard to America
Mucho painting
Cleaning the kitchen
Stripping wallpaper
Going to the library
Watching Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and marvelling over Ron's eyelashes
Throwing out my broken video
Shaking my booty to the Beatles
One pound hair cut

It snowed in Ponty last night and this morning it looked like a Swiss village. My morning song was Just like Christmas by Low and as soon as I put it on it started to snow and I did a little dance around the room.

Moving on from the relationship questions.I've been thinking a lot about children recently. So some questions for anyone that wants to answer.

Do you want children? If so did you always want kids?

If you have a child/children already what age were you(or your partner) when you had your first child?

Did you ever consider adoption?
