i like how sometimes in the middle of a boring day, when i sing random words whose sounds i just like the sound of in a string of nonsense i sometimes both make myself chuckle endearingly as to a small and slightly mad relative and also embarrass myself. even though i am alone in the house. i like that... sarah also likes to over hear me doing it. i do it a lot more than i think i do. dr dave tries it too now but always, unfailingly gets it wrong and just sings about legs which isn't random or nonsense at all...

ah! what can i say? i just like to string words together for the hell of it and make, as they say, "a joyful noise". sarah once caught me singing the end of a neil innes song as i hung up once and has now demanded a song of some kind before we hang up each phone call which is a bit embarrassing when i now have a mobile and have to sing in public occasionally...

When I was in Philly we'd end almost every sentence with ...and shit t never ceased to be side-splitting I miss the US.

I like, the slight quirk I have, of feeling something humorous, in a sad situation/memory. Rather than being sarcastic, a sort of, discerning wit. Although, I dislike my streak of pomposity! :)
