Uncle Kyle says it's time to go to bed....
I cooked a meal for [info]cupcakefilms last night shepard's pie and apple crumble and custard *vegan natch*. It's been a while since I've cooked properly for someone and I was thinking how intimate a process I find it. I guess it's an expression of love. I don't think I could cook well for someone I didn't like. I certainly find it difficult if my food isn't appreciated by the person I'm cooking for. I'm not sure if I could ever really love someone that I couldn't cook for.

for me cooking is all about love and generosity. i love it when people are prepared to take the time to cook for me, and are prepared to share their time eating with me. and that's my attitude to cooking for other people too. agree, 100%!

MMMM vegan shepherd's pie sounds so good right now. I agree with you--if a person I dated didn't like the kinds of food I cooked, then they would be screwed out of a relationship. Any time I tried to feed my past bf anything that wasn't fast food, he accused me of trying to poison him.
